Wildwood USA have been making great hand-made banjos since the early 1970's. Wildwood make a point of using only the finest figured maples, walnuts, and exotic hardwoods available. Good looks are one of their hallmarks. Good sound is the other!

In excellent condition (small ding on back of neck) this banjo is constructed with 11" rock maple block rim for strength and sound projection. The glowing, highly figured curly maple neck is sure to appeal. Ebony fingerboard caters to looks, durability and playability with spikes at 7th and 9th frets. Ebony headstock veneer has torch inlay in abalone and mother-of-pearl in headstock and logo.

Other features: Chequered ivoroid binding on neck and rim. Delicate Abalone birds and snowflake inlays in fingerboard. Gotah geared tuning pegs. Bone nut, and bone 5th string nut. Tubaphone-style Wildwood-made tone ring. Adjustable truss rod. Remo Fybreskin head. Waverly style tailpiece.

Presented to a high degree of finish, Wildwood have taken a lot of care in constructing this instrument and it feels really good under the hand. Excellent low action - it wants you to play it! Sound is balanced and responsive across the full range.
