One of Stelling's most popular banjos, inspired by master banjoist Bill Emerson.
Excellent condition. No fretwear. Highly figured maple neck and resonator with a deep tone and reddish tinge. Ebony fingerboard with a distinctive maple leaf inlay and a red fox inlaid in the peghead. The Red Fox in the peghead and the abalone maple leaves in the fingerboard help to make this a very striking model. Nickel hardware.
Stelling banjos have universal appeal and the Red Fox is known as a classic banjo design, effortless to play and extremely responsive to the touch. This banjo really rings! The Tony Pass Old Wood rim is now standard in all Stelling banjos. This rim, installed in a Stelling banjo, is awesome. It's been compared to prewar banjos in such a superior way for tone and volume that it is now standard on all new Stelling banjos.
