MORRIS 5-STRING BLUEGRASS - Pre-Loved 1977 - Sold
Very Good* to Excellent Condition. Traditional Gibson Mastertone style banjo by highly respected instrument-maker, Moridari of the Morris Instrument company. Morris have made quality banjos and guitars for over 40 years.
Mahogany neck and resonator. Rosewood fingerboard with pearl inlays. Minimal fretwear. Spikes at 7th, 9th and 10th frets. Gibson-style one-piece flange. Remo frosted head. Clamshell tailpiece. Presently kitted with Pat Doole 11/16" bridge but could easily accomodate 5/8" for lower action. Really very straight, clean banjo inside and out with well-balanced sound and excellent driving sound for an instrument of this price-range.
* Slight corrosion on tension hoop and fingerboard grain slightly speckled by fret-cleaning material leaving 'flecky' appearance. However, really very good for its age.
With original, aluminium-bound hard case also in excellent condition. One owner. On Consignment $1390.00 - Sold
