This banjo was originally a 2007 Gibson copy Style 11 made by the American Made Banjo Company.

The neck and rim were painted blue and the fingerboard was 50's style mother-of-toiletseat. With a respectful nod to Charlie Cushman, it has been made-over by Newman of Byron Bay to reveal the beauty of natural timbers.

Mahogany neck. New Ebony fingerboard with elaborate Abalone inlays. Spikes at 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th frets. Original headstock veneer with Style 11 motif. Gotoh 2 band tuners. New Quilted Maple resonator made by Steve Gill, USA. Original Heartland 3-ply maple rim fitted with original Dannick 20-hole flathead tone ring. (If you want to buy one of these tone rings they're $900 US!) Original hardware. Kel Kroydon frosted head. Presto tailpiece engraved: Kel Kroydon Banjo Company.
