This Ibanez is a rare find as the Artist is more
usually found with blonde woods. Excellent condition. Walnut
neck and double w-b-w-bound resonator with checkerboard side purfling
and concentric rings of w-b-w purfling on back. Checkerboard-bound ebony
fingerboard with fancy pearl inlays,
nickel hardware, two-piece flange, solid flathead tone ring, dual co-ordinator
rods, pearl headstock inlays. New Remo Weatherking
head and presently fitted with Kirchner tailpiece although original clamshell
tailpiece (as pictured) in case. Geared tuners, very unusual D-tuners
added to 1st and 3rd string tuners. Spikes at 7th, 9th and 10th frets. Rings like a
bell.
Very nice early import banjo, with signature hard
