The Huber Workhorse delivers a top shelf USA banjo at an affordable price. Huber are renowned for professional workmanship, quality of materials and big pre-war Gibson sound. Price-check: New, the Workhorse is $3695 USD. At today's conversion rates plus shipping, insurance and GST that's around $6800 AUD. Not exactly cheap. Until you compare it with the Huber VRB-4 at $10,263 AUD including costs.
I've played several mahogany Hubers such as Lancaster and this is easily as good - in fact, it's raring to go.
