As new condition. Classic Earl Scruggs Mastertone model which replicated Earl's Granada. Highly figured curly Maple neck and Sunburst Maple resonator.
Hearts and Flowers inlays. Ebony fingerboard. Spikes at 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th frets. Presto tailpiece and 5/8" Snuffy Smith bridge. You know the name, you know the reputation, you know the sound. A quick flick on the net will tell that Gibson have stopped production since the big flood. This one was bought in 2006 through Janet Davis Music with Waverly two-band tuning pegs - the only reason we're not classifying this banjo as 'all original'. Set up to give that awesome gritty 'crack' sound associated with pre-war Gibsons. A rare find in this condition for someone seeking a playable, collectable investment!
